SPML Infra lenders start Rs 2,000-crore debt sale based on anchor bid from NARCL

Lenders led by SBI are selling debt worth over Rs 2,000 cr of SPML Infrastructure at a reserve price of Rs 405 crore, with the anchor bid submitted by NARCL offering lenders a 20% recovery. IDBI Capital is acting on behalf of SBI, Canara Bank, ICICI Bank, PNB, BOB, and Union Bank of India, which are selling both fund-based and non-fund-based loans, as well as optionally convertible debentures, carrying a security value of Rs 1,203 crore.
